The purposes and legal basis of the processing

Urban IT Solutions regard your privacy as important. Information we collect from you, where you choose to provide it to us, enables us to send you information about products and services or career information in which you register an interest.

By providing us with your information you consent to us processing that same information for the purpose in which you have enquired. We will not pass it on to any third party. By visiting our website, you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this policy.

By completing the enquiry form and clicking on the button ‘Give me a call or email me’ you are giving consent for a member of the Urban IT Solutions team to contact you via either of the mediums on the request button dependant on the information you choose to share to allow us to get in touch. We will only contact you about the products and services you have expressed an interest in.

What personal data do we collect?

When making an enquiry about our products and services we ask for your Name, Email Address, Phone Number, Company Name (if applicable) along with details about what you want to enquire about.

Why do we collect this information?

We will use your information to respond to your enquiry and hopefully to provide you with the information you need. We do this in order to take steps at your request, prior to entering into a contract i.e. as part of pre-sales activity.

What do we do with your information?

Your information is stored in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system which is hosted by Amazon. We have a contractual agreement with Amazon that commits them to providing an appropriate level of safeguards for your personal data.

We will read your message and normally respond to you either via telephone or via email. We may ask for your consent to retain your information in our CRM system in order to send you further information that we think may be of interest to you.

We will not use the information to make any automated decisions that might affect you.

Your information will not be transferred to a third country or international organisation.

How long do we keep your information for?

Your enquiry is kept in our CRM system for one month unless your enquiry has developed into a regular dialogue with us or you give us your consent to send you marketing information on an ongoing basis, in which case we will keep it for as long as you continue to stay in touch or give consent.
